Fitrix ERP is a twenty-module Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software suite developed, sold and supported by Fourth Generation Software, an Atlanta Georgia-based company founded in 1987. Fourth Generation Software sells Fitrix ERP directly to end-customers in the general ERP software market globally and also through a select network of Value Added Resellers that focus on specialty software markets.

Our Background

After many years of helping small and mid-sized businesses develop and deploy innovative back-office data processing systems based on comprehensive packaged business software technology, Fourth Generation Software began shipping its Fitrix™ line of fully adaptable business software, now called Fitrix ERP. Fitrix’s software roots go back over 20 years. Initially shipped as a comprehensive family of ‘mini-computer’ software applications that typically cost $50,000 to $500,000 or more, Fitrix ERP’s predecessor was installed in large businesses of all types around the world. Some of these customers have thousands of users and process as many as ten-thousand orders a day. Fourth Generation Software still maintains a substantial customer base of these older ‘legacy’ customers today.

Over the years, many thousands of person-years of software development has gone into making the Fitrix ERP software suite extremely flexible and functional. In 2002, Fourth Generation began offering the first versions of the Fitrix ERP Series focused on the small and mid-size business (SMB) market. Based on the advanced software technology that we helped so many larger businesses customize and deploy, the new Fitrix packaging was designed to be an affordable, all-inclusive software solution that small and medium-size businesses could rapidly deploy, yet totally customize.

We complement our great software with a wide range of implementation and support services to assist customers from the most self-sufficient, to those needing extensive hand-holding all along the way. Our flexible approach lets you choose exactly the services you need, which helps greatly lower the ongoing costs of using Fitrix software year-after-year. To-date we have never ‘sunsetted’ or ended support for any version of our software products and still fully support software products that we published many years ago so that customers are not forced into upgrades.
