   Fitrix software is offered in two different packages* – ‘QuickStart’ for customers who want to use Fitrix ‘out-of-the-box’ – and ‘Complete’ for customers who want the software along with the tools they’ll need to fully customize the Fitrix applications to meet their specific needs. Both packages include all eight Accounting and Distribution software modules, and will support up to five concurrent users.

Fitrix QuickStart is designed to meet the needs of the Fitrix customer wanting to use Fitrix applications ‘out-of-the-box’, and includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Order Entry, Inventory Control and Purchasing. The base five-user Fitrix QuickStart package costs $6,500, and additional users can be added in increments of one for $1000 each.

Fitrix Complete is for customers who want to use the base functionality of Fitrix Accounting and Distribution applications, but also want to be able to completely customize these apps using the integrated Fitrix development toolkit. In addition to these powerful screen, menu and report development tools, full source code for all eight Fitrix software applications is included with Fitrix Complete. The base five-user Fitrix Complete package costs $10,000, and like Fitrix QuickStart, additional users can be added in increments of one for $1000 each.

Both Fitrix QuickStart and Fitrix Complete include the Express edition of IBM’s Informix IDS SQL relational database, plus the necessary runtime components of the toolkit to run all applications. The only software needed to run Fitrix that isn’t included in these packages is the Linux operating system, which is essentially free from numerous sources that we can point you to (documentation and support are often extra, depending on the Linux version you choose).

In addition to the cost of Fitrix software, Helpdesk Support and Software Subscription Service are additional, and must be purchased when buying Fitrix software.  Implementation services also are priced separately, and a variety of options exist for customers ranging from very self-sufficient to those needed lots of hand-holding.  You may also be interested in other optional add-ons such as Crystal Reports or the f9 financial report writer, which are priced separately.
