   There are two ways to try out Fitrix ERP free for 30 days. The easiest way is to sign up for the free Fitrix ERP 30-Day Hosted Trial. The Hosted Trial lets you to use a ‘live’ copy of the Fitrix ERP software, hosted on our servers, for up to 30 days. Using a pre-configured sample Fitrix database, you can enter transactions and use any of the full capabilities of Fitrix ERP with just a few exceptions.* At the end of the 30 day period, if you decide to purchase Fitrix ERP, we can move any data you’ve set up in this Hosted Trial to your ‘production’ version of Fitrix when it is installed. With the Hosted Trial, there is nothing to install on your PC or server, we just send you a Remote Desktop link and you can start trying out Fitrix right away.

The other way to try Fitrix ERP is to download and install our 30-day Fitrix ERP Evaluation Media on your in-house server running a supported platform (we can also send CDs; please choose which option below). Currently we only offer the Fitrix ERP Evaluation Media via download or CDs for supported versions of Linux, but our Windows (and Linux) compatible VMware-based Evaluation Media will be available soon (please use the option below to indicate if you are interested in this option when its available). We highly recommend that even if you want to install an Evaluation Copy that you first try the 30-Day Hosted Trial since it requires no hardware or any effort on your part whatsoever to get up and running.
 

Hosted Trial: How It Works

Sign up for the Hosted Trial and you'll receive an email with a Windows Remote Desktop (.rdp) shortcut, plus a unique Fitrix ERP login & password and instructions on how to connect to your own 'live' copy of Fitrix ERP that you will have access to for 30 days.  You'll be able to use the online help and user documentation to learn how to use Fitrix ERP during the trial.  Based upon which support option you choose (both are free), you'll get email-only or full (email and phone) support.  If you choose to purchase Fitrix ERP when the 30-day evaluation period is up, we can move any data you’ve set up in this Hosted Trial to your ‘production’ version of Fitrix when it is installed.
 

Evaluation Media: How It Works

Sign up for the Evaluation Media and you can either download a complete working copy of Fitrix ERP to install on your Linux server or we'll send you media to install the Linux Evaluation Media (please indicate below if you are interested in our Windows-compatible VMware Evaluation Media when its available). Both come with complete installation instructions and the Support Options below. If you choose to purchase Fitrix ERP when the 30-day evaluation period is up, we'll send you permanent licensing keys that will convert your Evaluation Media installation into a fully licensed version, and any data your entered into Fitrix ERP will be preserved.

Both the Linux Evaluation Media download and CD set utilize the Fitrix Windows Thin Client client software to connect users to the Fitrix server.  The Evaluation Media has technical requirements that must be met (listed here), and require that you or someone at your company have the necessary systems administrator technical skills in install these (listed here).
 

Support Options

Both the 30-Day Hosted Trial and the Evaluation Media have two different support options :

  • Email Only Support - if you do not want us to contact you other than to send you the instructions for accessing the Hosted Trial or the Evaluation Media, and feel you'll only need email-based support from us, choose this option. You will receive instructions on how to contact our Support Center for support along with the instructions on how to access the Hosted Trial or Evaluation Media.
     
  • Full Support - if you'd prefer full support when using the Hosted Trial or Evaluation Media, which includes email and phone-based access to our Support Center, we'll contact you to schedule a quick 15 - 30 minute needs discussion via phone and a 30 - 45 minute Fitrix ERP software orientation via the Webex online conferencing service, designed to give you a quick overview of the Fitrix capabilities that you're most interested in. You'll have email only support until the completion of the needs discussion and orientation, after which we'll provide you with information on how to access phone support.

Note: because our existing customers receive support priority for both email and phone support, turnaround times for Hosted Trial and Evaluation Media support may exceed standard support service levels.

*Exceptions include certain functions that require the configuration of additional Fitrix infrastructure beyond the standard Fitrix installation or require optional 3rd party products to function (a number of these are included with Fitrix but are not part of the Hosted Trial at this time). Examples include but are not limited to the Flexible Document Delivery (FDD) feature (ability to batch email, fax and print documents within Fitrix ERP based on preferences you set by customer or vendor), Credit Card Processing interface, EDI interface and eCommerce interface.
